The inaugural Power to the People Festival was a massive, star-studded peaceful protest music and civic action event held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland. Curated by Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello, the festival was a non-partisan day of “peace, love, justice, and music” and was heavily oriented toward grassroots activism for its 20,000 attendees. Ticket proceeds from the 10 hour festival directly benefited pro-voter and pro-democracy organizations HeadCount and VoteRiders.
