Leg one of “The Painful Statements” Tour came to an end at The King of Clubs in Columbus, Ohio. The place was packed, and we all had a great time rocking out to every Nonpoint song from “To The Pain” and “Statements”. There were little pre-recorded spoken parts after about three or four songs of the set talking about how Elias ended up being frontman for Nonpoint, ( who at the time were called Nonpoint Factor ) and how they ended up becoming the band that is here today.
This whole show from start to finish was a blast. You could tell that Heartsick, Crobot and Nonpoint all had a blast touring together. There were shenanigans a plenty! I saw a guy dressed up as a strip of bacon in the crowd. There were piggyback rides during Crobot’s set and Alfonso Civile from Heartsick was twerking on stage at one point. I heard there was a guy dressed up in a bigfoot suit on the stage with Nonpoint, but I missed that. I swear I look away for maybe 2 minutes and I missed bigfoot! Figures!
